Volunteering at HSYC
There are volunteer opportunities available for all ages, physical conditions, and interests. Volunteers can do anything from socializing the animals to training them, walking the dogs, cleaning & sanitizing the pet areas, grooming, washing & folding laundry, helping with fund raising events, working the front desk, lawn & gardening, to just about anything you can imagine!
All volunteers are required to attend an orientation session before actively volunteering. Some activities will require training. You will be contacted to schedule an orientation session after we receive your application.
Note that volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times while volunteering.
